ARTIST PROFILE

Iranian-born Mahshid was surrounded by art from a very early age. After finishing High school she, like many others, got caught up by the revolution which inspired a lot of her work.

Learning her craft at many ‘En plain air’ art classes in Tehran’s parks, she used the backdrop of the country as a canvas and outlet for her art.

In 1983, she moved to London and studied Interior Design and, later Fine Art.
